The inner edges are cut and unsecured. 2nd half of the 19th century. Probable origin: Belgium or France. Materials: lace; dimensions: width 23 cm, length 81 cm., A delicate scalloped lace collar in black is laid flat on a pale gray background, forming a U-shape with two elongated curved panels meeting at the bottom; the lace features an ornate floral pattern with clusters of flowers, leaves, and scrolling vines worked into a fine mesh, and the edges are finished with a scalloped trim.
