The back is made of brown canvas at the top and fabric at the bottom as on the front. 1750s, Silesia, garment, length 76 cm, A sleeveless, knee-length garment displayed on a black mannequin torso, made of a ribbed fabric in a muted mauve color with an all-over floral brocade in shades of green and off-white; the front has a narrow standing neckline and a vertical row of fabric-covered buttons and decorative loops, with a short pleated peplum and flap pockets near the hem, and the floral pattern forms scalloped borders and clusters of leaves and blossoms against the mauve ground.
