The back is made of brown canvas at the top and fabric at the bottom as on the front. 1750s, Silesia, garment, length 76 cm, A sleeveless garment laid flat with a fitted bodice and a flared skirt-like extension, patterned with vertical subtle stripes and ornate floral motifs; the fabric shows a muted mauve or dusty rose background with pale cream flowers and green leafy accents, darker olive green foliage, and touches of brown in the decorative details, while the inside lining visible at the neck and skirt opening is a natural off-white or beige.
