The back is made of brown canvas at the top and fabric at the bottom as on the front. 1750s, Silesia, garment, length 76 cm, A sleeveless garment laid flat against a light gray background, made of a mauve fabric with narrow vertical stripe texture and an all-over floral pattern; the flowers and foliage are depicted in shades of white, green, and muted brown, arranged in ornate, looping motifs with scalloped edges; the garment has a rounded neckline, a central fastening with a vertical row of fabric-covered buttons, a fitted bodice leading to a dropped, flared skirt with pointed side panels, and a visible inner lining in a pale beige color.
