Dress with train, Dress of white muslin, early 19th century, Silesia. High waist, with a long train; deep-cut square neckline, cinched at the front with a drawstring. Three-quarter set-in sleeves, gathered at the top and flared at the bottom, with embroidered inserts featuring smaller geometric patterns. Skirt sewn to the bodice, narrow at the front and fuller at the back, long train. Front decorated with embroidery: between two rows of stylized flower baskets are small scatterings of polka dots. Hem and train decorated with stylized flower baskets. Empire style. Trains clothing, geometric ornaments, basket with flowers ornament. Length 131 cm front, 230 cm back; hem circumference 408 cm.
