Stole, 18th century, Poland. Liturgical vestment, length 205 cm, width 22 cm. Made of woolen fabric with linen lining pink. Embroidered along the edges with floral tendrils; ends of the paddles embroidered with equal-armed crosses at the center. At the junction of the paddles and the waistband is an embroidered floral rosette motif. Around the edges is an embroidered band with a carp-scale motif imitating gold braid. Dominant ornament colors: white background, yellow, green, pink, and blue.
