Stole, Liturgical vestment church vestment made entirely of kontusz sashes; silk with alternating green horizontal stripes—plain and on a white background with a small brown wreath-like ornament. Edges of the stripes are decorated with a small white-brown wreath-like ornament. Ends of the stole palettes are trapezoidal and trimmed with white-silver braid. Lining impregnated with pink linen. 2nd half of the 18th century, Poland. Length 200 cm, width 15 7 cm., A long fabric band with a wide flared end, shown against a plain pale background, features alternating horizontal stripes of green and beige with a repeating decorative vine-like motif in brown; the band has metallic gold trim around the flared end and a small metallic cross-shaped embellishment near the tip and at the wide end, and the fabric shows a woven texture with subtle variations in green, beige, brown, and gold.
