Design: small silver twigs form a net with meshes in the form of palmettes inside which white roses are placed; blue-silver stems. Report: 3.7 x 2.7. Fabric density in 1 square cm: 31 white warps, 31 blue wefts. 17th century, Iran, fabrics. Height 76 cm, width 17.6 cm min. 4.3 cm., A long, irregularly triangular fabric fragment laid flat against a dark background, showing a repeating small geometric motif that alternates between rounded and fan-like shapes; the fabric surface appears worn with some frayed edges and loose threads along the top and bottom borders, and a section of fringe remnants along one long edge. The visible colors include muted blue-gray as the dominant ground, darker navy or deep blue within the motifs, and a faded beige or tan accenting other parts of the pattern and the frayed fibers, with small patches of off-white where the material is more worn.
