Pall, origin unknown, church parament featuring crosses, chalices, and plant ornaments; sacred art for churches and chapels furnishings; liturgical parament, 1840s; height 17 cm, width 17 cm, A square textile with a central embroidered design surrounded by a decorative border is visible; the fabric is a light beige or cream color with embroidered areas in red, pink, green, yellow, gold, and dark brown. The central panel shows a heart-shaped motif in deep red with surrounding green leaves and stems, a gold-colored cross above it, and a chalice-shaped form in gold nearby, all stitched on the cream background. The surrounding border consists of a repeating pattern of floral medallions and geometric elements in red, pink, green, and gold on the same cream fabric, with some darker brown and black accents in the embroidery. The textile edges are finished with a woven trim in beige, and the overall piece shows slight signs of wear and irregularity along the edges.
