Kilim, kilim, court kilim, fabrics. In the center of the main field is a motif of a sealed envelope surrounded by a wreath woven with roses and small four-petal flowers and leaves. In the corners are motifs of twigs with flowers and rose buds. The kilim is surrounded by a wide border with a motif of a winding branch with bellflowers and six-petal flowers. This wide border is bordered on both sides by narrow zigzag trails. Colors: blue, white, pink, green, straw, ochre, and black. 1st half of the 19th century, Poland. Fabrics, height 206 cm, width 165 cm., A rectangular textile with a pale blue-green background features a central panel framed by a narrow dark border and a zigzag patterned band in dark and beige; inside the central panel there is a circular floral wreath of stylized roses and small flowers connected by curving branches and leaves in shades of pink, green, olive, brown, beige, and cream, with a small diamond-shaped motif at the center; surrounding the central panel is a wide border decorated with a repeating vine of roses and small flowers and leaves in similar pink, green, olive, beige, cream, and brown tones, set against the same pale blue-green field and edged by the zigzag dark and beige trim; the overall piece shows visible texture of woven or hooked fibers and is held at the top by clips against a neutral background with small glimpses of dark and reddish-brown elements at the sides.
