Kilim, In the center of the main field is a shield composed of ogee and rooster combs – the Wolda coat of arms, a variant of the Traby coat of arms. Above the shield is a large five-pronged crown. Motifs of two pairs of branches with large-cup flowers branch from the shield. Around the shield, filling the background, are symmetrically arranged motifs of ogee and acanthus leaves. The kilim is surrounded by a border decorated with fan-shaped palmettes, acanthus leaves, and wavy line segments. Colors: peacock-green background; ornamentation in sand, pink, yellow, and navy blue. Second half of the 18th century, Poland. Fabric. Height 150 cm; width 185 cm., A rectangular textile with a teal background featuring an ornate embroidered design in colors including gold, pink, blue, cream, and green; the central area shows a stylized crest-like shape with a crown motif above it, surrounded by flowing scrolls and floral elements in pink, gold, navy blue, and cream; a decorative inner border frames the central panel, and an outer border of scrolling floral and foliate patterns runs around the piece with repeated shell-like flower motifs in pink, blue, cream, and gold; the outermost edge has a wavy, multicolored undulating band in pink, cream, blue, and gold.
