Colors: beige, pink, sky blue, ochre, and olive. Post–mid-18th century; possibly Beauvais or Aubusson. Materials: fabrics. Dimensions: height 57 cm, width 68 cm., A rectangular woven textile with a wide pink border surrounds a central beige panel depicting a pastoral scene; the central area shows a light brown animal standing on grassy terrain with muted green and tan hills behind it, framed at the top and sides by garlands of leaves and flowers in shades of green, pink, and pale yellow. The lower edge of the central scene features a curved floral swag with a mix of soft blue, cream, pink, and green flowers and foliage, and draped tassel-like elements in pink and beige at the lower corners. The outer border is solid rose-pink, and the overall surface shows woven texture with colors including pink, beige, green, brown, cream, blue, and hints of yellow.
