The column is identical to those flanking the pastoral scene in the tapestry inventory no. SZT 2211. Identical colors: cream, red, pink, green, and yellow. 1750–1780, France. Medium: fabrics. Height 225 cm, width 48 cm., A long vertical textile panel with a central fluted column motif in warm yellow and orange tones, wrapped at intervals with garlands of flowers in pink, red, blue, and green; the column sits on a square plinth in muted brown and gold hues surrounded by more floral clusters. The background fabric is a pale cream color with a narrow border on one side in faded pink and a fringed edge on the other side; the panel shows areas of wear and fraying along the edges and surface. At the top a plain linen or canvas strip in beige with round metal rings is attached, and the bottom edge shows a darker brown strip of fabric. Overall colors visible include cream, beige, yellow, orange, pink, red, blue, green, brown, and gold.
