The main field of the kilim is filled with flower and leaf motifs arranged symmetrically in repeating rhomboid arrangements. It is surrounded by a three-stripe border; in the middle, widest strip, there is a floral garland motif, and in the narrow outer strips, floral and leafy tendrils. Colors: the background of the central part is off-white, and the borders are tobacco-colored; ornamentation in green, magenta, tobacco, white, and black. Ca. 1850. Place of origin: Poland. Material: fabrics. Height 218 cm, width 215 cm., A square woven textile with an overall muted green background decorated with a dense floral pattern in shades of green, brown, beige, and touches of pink and red, framed by a wide ornamental border featuring leafy and floral motifs in green, brown, beige, and pink on a brownish band, with narrower inner borders in similar earthy tones; the flowers and leaves are arranged symmetrically across the field, and the edges show a darker brown binding against a pale neutral backdrop.
