Border with bunches of flowers and fruit and medallions: side medallions personifications of virtues; top cartouche with Debno and Labedz coats of arms; bottom medallion inscription: ETVITAM/AETERNAM/AMEN. Colors: sand, navy blue, green, red, and pink. Early 17th century more precise dating suggested by Jerzy Samson Podbereski's marriage before 1602 and death 1629/1630. Materials: fabrics; height 284 cm, width 232 cm., A large woven textile hangs against a pale background, dominated by muted gold, beige, blue, green, red, and cream tones. The central scene shows a winged figure with multicolored wings and green and gold drapery standing over a seated figure in blue robes who holds a book, surrounded by cloud-like shapes in beige and gray. To the right of the central figures is a smaller crowned figure in red garments floating on a cloud above an architectural complex rendered in beige and blue, with small human figures near it. The lower foreground features floral motifs and a few plants in green and blue near a rocky base. A decorative border surrounds the central scene, composed of panels with stylized flowers in gold, blue, green, and red, and several oval medallions each containing a single standing figure in varied attire. The top border includes an ornate crest-like cartouche in dark blue and gold. Overall the textile displays intricate woven details, flowing drapery, and a palette of muted gold, blue, green, red, cream, and beige.
