Background right is a seascape with ships filled with troops; background middle and left show tents, troops on horseback, and a bonfire lit on the seashore. High horizon with an outline of mountains. Materials: woven decorative fabric; colors limited and saturated—green, red, sapphire, sand, and yellow. Dimensions: height 212 cm, width 347 cm. Border clipped / no border., A richly detailed woven scene fills the image, dominated by warm golds and tans with accents of blue, red, green, and beige. Several figures in ornate armor and plumed helmets stand and ride horses across a landscape of stylized foliage and rolling hills. Horses with decorative trappings and bridles are shown alongside standing figures holding spears and shields, and a group of attendants clustered together. The foreground features leafy plants and flowers in green and yellow tones, while the midground includes patterned garments with blue and red embellishments and layered skirts and capes. In the background a distant assembly of more figures and tents is visible, and to one side a large sailing ship with billowing sails appears near a shoreline. The overall texture is woven, with detailed ornamental borders and repeated motifs of foliage and decorative armor.
