Velum, embroidery, church paraments, floral motifs, Henryków Heinrichau. Flowers, leaves, plant ornaments; sacred art; churches and chapels furnishings. Velum or church cloth of white linen batiste, embroidered along the edges with floral bouquet motifs in gold thread. In the center is an embroidered inscription IESUS, above which a small cross. Around the edges are stylized Persian-style flower bouquets. In one corner are embroidered the letters HHGS. Trimmed with gold bobbin lace with an interwoven ribbon motif late 17th century. A wide approx. 3 mm strip of gold thread is sewn onto the edges where the lace is sewn. Double-sided embroidery. Flat, pierced embroidery, satin stitch. The stitch direction is adapted to the shapes of the ornaments. Metal threads — a gold plate covered with multicolored patina, woven on a silk base. 17th century, Silesia; liturgical vestment. Height 74 cm, width 82 cm., A square cloth with a pale cream background bordered by a textured gold trim, showing a repeated decorative floral motif in muted gold and gray arranged along the edges, with visible folds and creases across the surface, slight discoloration spots in a few areas, and a subtle shadow cast on the surrounding light gray backdrop.
