Church cope, liturgical vestment, 17th century, Poland. Made of raspberry satin, embroidered with floral patterns. On the front, branch patterns are arranged in six rows: two types—asymmetrical, slightly inclined branches with three flowers, and symmetrical, straight branches with a single flower at the top and two pairs of leaves. Edges decorated with a border featuring a floral and fruit tendril motif; lower edges trimmed with gold bobbin lace. Beige linen lining. Height 298 cm, width 201 cm., A large pink fabric draped over a rectangular form with visible creases and folds, decorated with a repeating ornate floral motif in a greenish-gold color along the top edge and down the sides, and a decorative border in the same greenish-gold color running around the top and bottom edges; the fabric shows areas of wear and small dark spots, and the background is a uniform gray.
