On the main side, against a red and purple background, is the coat of arms of Poland and Lithuania – the Eagle and Pogon – and between them a large crown sewn on with beads, pearls, and sequins, with colorful flannel imitating precious stones. Below, an embroidered inscription in capital letters embroidered outline: FOR FAITH AND HOMELAND, 1863. On the reverse, an embroidered canvas painting of the Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus and John the Baptist, sewn at the top. Below the painting, an embroidered inscription: MOTHER DO NOT ABORT US. 1863. Dimensions: height 126 cm, width 103 cm., A large rectangular fabric panel in deep blue with a light beige border shows a square embroidered image near the upper center depicting a seated figure wearing robes and a head covering in shades of off-white, brown, and muted red, with a second figure partially visible behind in similar muted tones; the embroidered scene is framed by decorative motifs in brown and beige. The blue field displays a few small darker spots and subtle variations in texture, and there is a narrow darker blue vertical strip along the left edge. The beige border shows signs of wear and slight discoloration, and the bottom right corner has a small tied fabric element in beige. Colors visible include deep blue, beige, off-white, brown, muted red, and darker blue.
