Fragment of bobbin lace, 18th century, Flanders; lace fragment from Henryków German: Heinrichau; width 9 cm, length 51 cm., A delicate length of lace arranged in an angular layout against a uniform background, the lace appears off-white or cream with an open, floral and geometric pattern and scalloped edges in places, showing a fine net-like texture and some frayed ends; a small cluster of paper tags and a short green string are attached near one end, and the background is a flat medium gray.
