The preserved fragment has the form of a trapezoid and all edges are cut. 19th century, France. Height 38 cm, width 37 cm., A triangular piece of delicate net fabric laid flat on a solid background, with frayed uneven edges and a repeating embroidered motif of small floral-like shapes and diamond shapes across its surface; the fabric appears off-white or cream while the background is a cool mid-gray, and there is a small rectangular tag attached near one corner showing a hint of pale pink and beige.
