Width 5.5 cm, length 34 cm., A long narrow strip of fabric laid flat against a gray background showing a decorative lace border with an embroidered floral and scroll motif in beige and off-white tones, attached to a backing of frayed, semi-sheer white or cream cloth with faint traces of pinkish stitch marks and darker beige smudges; the lace has a fine mesh ground and features flowing leaf and flower shapes in a slightly darker beige thread, while the backing includes a small piece of stiffer white or cream paper or fabric at one end with a simple dark brown decorative mark.
