Creator: unknown., A horizontal strip of delicate lace with a repeating floral motif set against a flat background, showing a net-like openwork of diamond-shaped holes and clusters of rounded, petal-like embroidered elements; the lace has a decorative scalloped lower edge with tiny looped fringes and an upper edge finished with a straight selvage; visible colors include off-white or cream for the lace and a muted gray for the background.
