Mesh background of the ißsgrond and point de neige types. Ca. 1750. Lace, width 10 cm, length 118 cm., A long narrow piece of lace with a scalloped top and bottom edge stretches across the image against a solid gray background, showing an intricate floral pattern with flowing vine-like motifs and open mesh areas; the lace appears in shades of off-white, cream, and light beige with subtle variations in tone, and there is a small irregularity at one end where the fabric looks slightly frayed.
