The back of the chasuble is sewn from two fragments of fabric with motifs of large palmettes placed on a plain red background. The palmettes with serrated edges are decorated inside with floral sprigs and fruit spreading symmetrically and enclosing a smaller palmette with arabesque patterns in the center. Patterns in cream, blue, and gold. Three pieces of fabric sewn into one. Regular plant ornament, unfolding vertically on a red background. Colors: gold, white and sapphire. 17th century, Turkey, liturgical vestment, length 118 cm, width 49 cm back., A long, narrow textile panel with a V-shaped top and rounded bottom, displayed flat against a pale background, showing a repeating ornate medallion pattern in a dominant deep red with accents of light blue and pale gold; the medallions are vertically arranged and framed by irregular vertical streaks of pale gold and red, and small pale blue ribbon loops are attached along the sides and top edges; the fabric surface appears slightly worn in places, with visible weave texture and subtle variations in color intensity.
