Large repeat of pointed ovals formed by wide ribbons fastened with a peacock's eyes motif; ribbons filled with single circles. Inside ovals: palmettes with a central bouquet of flowers. Surrounding the ovals: winding stems of small flowers. Height 154 cm, width 63 cm., The image shows a vertical textile with a repeating ornamental pattern in deep magenta and muted gold tones on a dark background border. The design features a series of large teardrop-shaped medallions with pointed leafy outlines containing floral motifs, connected by curved bands decorated with a row of circular elements. Stylized leaf and bud shapes extend from the bands and fill the surrounding field. The textile surface shows areas of wear and slight discoloration where the magenta and gold threads vary in intensity, and the edges appear slightly frayed.
