Fabric fragment, fragments of silk fabric, patterned with a symmetrical composition of bouquets and sprigs of multicolored stylized flowers. Gros de Tours background with liseré; pattern brocaded with colorful threads: green, white, blue, light and dark red, pink; silver threads braided tied in rows. Reported dimensions larger than preserved fragment. Edge width: 0.3 cm. Second half of the 18th century, France. Height 34 cm, width 38 cm., A piece of woven fabric with a dark purple background laid against a black surface, decorated with a repeating floral pattern featuring a few large, stylized blossoms in shades of red and pink, several smaller flowers in blue and pale pink, and clusters of leaves in muted green and gray; the floral motifs are arranged on curving stems and accompanied by additional small floral sprays, and the fabric edges are uneven and slightly frayed.
