Giordes-type prayer rug, In the central field a red semicircular mihrab arch with offsets; in the mihrab niche a hanging lamp at the top and a vase with flowers and lanceolate leaves at the bottom. Stylized Arabic inscription inside the lamella and vase and in the corners of the central field, with Turkish text in Arabic script above and below the mihrab arch. Cypress trees flank the niche. Three-band border: inner and outer bands beige with a green geometric pattern, central band decorated with red and pink flowers. Niches at top and bottom decorated with vases and flowers. Colors: cherry red, white, and green backgrounds; light green and pink ornaments. Symmetrical knots. Inscription in Naschi script in Turkish in a rectangular field at the top reading Welcome! Be greeted. Other inscriptions undecipherable. Giordes knotting, knot density approx. 2500 per 1 dm². 18th century, Turkey. Height 86 cm, width 54 cm., A rectangular woven textile with tasseled fringe along one short edge, featuring a central vertical panel with an ornate symmetrical pattern in deep red and muted yellow against a background that includes pale blue and cream, flanked by lighter side panels with subtle pale yellow and cream motifs. Surrounding the center is a broad border with floral and geometric decorations in green, pale pink, cream, and muted gold, punctuated by small dark red floral motifs. The outermost edges show a narrow band with small square panels in pastel tones of blue, pink, green, and gold, and the overall palette includes cream, green, deep red, pale blue, muted yellow, pink, and gold.
