Women's umbrella made of white lace. Its canopy is trimmed with cream silk at the bottom, which conceals the metal structure and, when unfolded, provides a backdrop for the lace covering. The bone handle is carved with floral motifs and folds in half. c. 1850–1875, France. Length 66 cm; diameter 57 cm.
