Travel armchair, late Baroque type, carved and gilded, with a high flat backrest, cabriole legs that arc into a wavy-cut bottom frame, S-shaped armrests with supports ending in a common volute. Trapezoidal seat and backrest cushions, reupholstered in red damask imitating large-scale Baroque fabrics. The backrest upholstery is recessed and removable after removing the upper frame, which is mounted on steel pins and decorated with acanthus leaves, a checkered pattern, and a cartouche filled with an acanthus finial. Frame decorated with palmettes and rosettes impressed in chalk-glue; legs framed with a half-cylinder. Hinges connecting front and rear frames are steel, primed and gilded on the outside.
