Chair, Biedermeier style, Biedermeier chair with a trapezoidal, padded seat and a rectangular openwork backrest curved outward in an S-shape. Prismatic legs, arched outward; the rear legs merge into the backrest stiles. Straight frame. Upholstered seat on springs. A wide board tops the backrest; a strip at the bottom, with a cup-shaped middle board between them. Date: 1825–1835. Place of origin: Warsaw. Type: seating furniture, furniture. Dimensions: height 86 cm, width 46 cm, depth 45.5 cm., A wooden chair with a warm honey-brown finish and visible wood grain and knots, featuring a curved backrest with a decorative central splat, a rectangular seat upholstered in striped fabric with alternating deep red and cream bands, a narrow decorative trim along the seat edge in a gold tone, gently tapered legs in the same honey-brown wood, and a plain light gray background behind the chair.
