Deckchair, Polish Timber Industry, Czerski and Jakimowicz Lviv; furniture factory; 1929–1939, furniture factory author; lounge furniture, beach furniture, garden furniture, folding. DECKCHAIR constructed from two different sized rectangular frames: the backrest smaller and the seat larger, connected by hinges, with canvas stretched over them. The frame elements with the exception of the turned rear leg connector and the doubled front seat stile are angular. The seat frame is supported on its shorter sides by two folding legs connected by a connector, the front extended into armrest supports. The armrests have hinges adjustable in three positions. Salmon-colored canvas fabric with vertical orange stripes framed by narrow blue stripes; attached to the underside of the upper backrest frame and the rear seat frame, sandwiched between the two front seat frames. Originally the deckchair was equipped with a separate footrest. 1938–1939, Lviv; piece of furniture, seating furniture. Height 84.2 cm; width 58.5 cm; depth 115.5 cm., A wooden chair with a tall fabric backrest and seat is centered against a plain gray background; the wood is a warm reddish-brown and the fabric is a tan color with a few vertical narrow blue stripes near the edges, the fabric hangs slightly loose at the seat edge and shows a small torn area along one side; the chair has armrests and slender legs, and the overall scene features shades of gray, tan, blue, and reddish-brown.
