Chest, Gothic style, floral and geometric ornament, repossession, CHEST with straight sides and front forming console legs at the bottom, with a flat lid, decorated on the pseudo-frame of the front with an engraved decoration featuring a dry thistle motif, with a darkened background. Panels and sides are smooth, without decoration. The lid is framed on the sides and front with profiled frames forming the rim. Board walls, back and front are attached to the body, fastened with dowels. Inside, on the left side of the box. Steel fittings, secondary — steel lock, applied, without a cup, strap-eye hinges, fastened with forged nails. Dated 1500–1520. Place of origin possibly Bavaria, Lesser Poland, Central Europe. Furniture; storage furniture. Height 80.5 cm, width 159 cm, depth 60 cm., A rectangular wooden box with a worn, dark brown surface sits centered against a smooth gray background and a light gray floor; the box shows scratches and small chips, visible joints and a few rectangular cutouts along its bottom edge, and a slightly raised top with a narrower vertical wooden strip on the front; colors visible include dark brown, lighter brown highlights, gray, and light gray.
