Table, rococo style with shell ornament, plant decorations, ROUND neo-rococo table, carved and inlaid, supported by three S-shaped slender legs. Legs terminate at the bottom with volutes and hooved feet, at the top arched to a wavy-cut frame. Center of each frame has a shell cartouche with acanthus tendrils and flowers; bottoms have half-rounds forming channel sections connected by volutes. Tabletop edge has a quarter-round profile with a step, cut with many leaves. Center of tabletop bordered with a wattle-and-daub pattern of light and dark ribbon-and-pincer motifs, framed crosswise on the outside; center filled with patterned walnut, frame is smooth walnut, wavy fields made of poplar burl. Dated 1880–1900. Origin possibly Poland or Germany. Furniture, table; height 71.5 cm, diameter 58.8 cm., A wooden round table with a scalloped edge top showing natural wood grain and worn finish sits on three curved cabriole legs with carved floral and scroll details; the wood tones range from medium to dark brown with lighter brown worn areas, and the background is a pale gray.
