Chair, Biedermeier and Gothic Revival styles, mahogany chair with a removable padded seat cushion and a boarded oval backrest featuring a central quatrefoil openwork. Front legs straight, turned in a baluster form; rear legs angular, tapering, arched outward. Seat rounded at the back, bulging at the front. Frame straight, glued from two layers of squared timbers in a brick pattern; front apron with semicircular arcades and balls at the bottom. Backrest curved to follow the back, mounted on a support with C-beam side supports. Originally a cushion on a pine frame, upholstered in green velvet; currently in a yellow fabric with a geometric pattern. Dated 1815–1830, Poland. Seating furniture, height 84 cm, width 48 cm, depth 48.8 cm., A wooden chair with a dark brown polished finish and a rounded backrest featuring a cutout quatrefoil shape, a cushioned seat upholstered in a yellow patterned fabric, turned front legs and a slightly curved rear leg, and decorative scalloped apron details beneath the seat; colors visible include dark brown and yellow against a light background.
