Table, classicism style, geometric ornament, round mahogany table with a white marble top enclosed by a brass gallery, supported by four slender, straight legs tapering downwards. Entire table is polished. Legs have knuckles at the top and brass rollers with angular clamps at the bottom. Drum-shaped frame contains a drawer with a lock. Stone slab is chiseled on the underside. Upper frame supporting the top is chiseled at points of varying thickness. Cast gallery gilded with amalgam. 1790–1810, France . Furniture, table. Height 77 cm; diameter 57.6 cm., A wooden round table shown upside down with a circular base in brown wood and a decorative gold-colored trim along the bottom edge, a few tapered wooden legs attached upright to the base with small gold-colored metal fittings at their tops, the wood showing natural grain and some darker worn areas, and a plain light gray background.
