Table by Jakub Jan Simmler 1791–1872, carpenter. Round table supported by three S-shaped carved legs with acanthus volutes at both ends, mounted on a triangular platform with concave sides. Legs strongly flared at the top with half-cylinders at the rear edges, topped with volutes. Platform has three flat, block-shaped feet. Round, narrow frame glued from four layers of slats into a brick shape. Ornament: acanthus, plant decoration, volutes. Style: Louis Philippe. Function: furniture, table. Date: 1840–1847. Dimensions: height 76.4 cm; diameter 93.5 cm., A round table with a light-colored patterned top rests on a dark wooden base; the tabletop shows muted tones including pale, greenish, and reddish hues in a decorative design, and the edge appears creamy. The wooden base is a rich brown with a polished finish and features three curved legs joined to a triangular platform, each leg carved with ornate floral and scroll motifs in darker brown tones. The background is a smooth, neutral gray, and the surface beneath the table is a slightly lighter gray.
