Table; maker: Simmler, Jakub Jan 1791–1872 carpenter. ROUND TABLE supported by three S-shaped carved legs, with acanthus volutes at both ends, mounted on a triangular platform with concave sides. The legs are strongly flared at the top, with half-cylinders at the rear edges, topped with volutes. The platform has three flat, block-shaped feet. Round, narrow frame, glued from four layers of slats into a so-called brick shape. Materials/ornament: acanthus ornament, plant decoration, volutes. Style: Louis-Philippe. Date: 1840–1847. Place of origin: Warsaw. Function/type: furniture; table. Dimensions: height 76.4 cm; diameter 93.5 cm., A wooden circular frame supported by a triangular wooden base is shown against a light gray background, with a group of ornate carved wooden elements at the junctions where the circular frame meets the base. The wood displays warm brown and reddish-brown tones with visible grain, and there are lighter beige protective coverings on the corners of the triangular base. The carved elements have darker brown highlights and intricate textured surfaces, and the overall scene includes shades of light gray in the backdrop and soft shadows beneath the object.
