Console, origin unknown, flowers, rococo, dragons, rocaille ornament, plant decoration, garlands. Console with a white marble top supported by a richly carved, gilded base. Top and openwork frame have a wavy outline, bulging at the front, rounded front corners, concave sides, straight back. S-shaped legs joined at the bottom by a cross-shaped stretcher with wavy joints and a winged dragon at the center. Structure decorated with rocaille motifs, flowers, leaves, and channel sections. Frame painted ochre on the inside. 1730–1750, Central Europe. Piece of furniture, table; H 76 cm, W 143 cm, D 72.8 cm., A decorative table with a white marble top and an ornate gilded base featuring elaborate carved scrolls, floral motifs, and a sculpted winged creature, set against a pale wall and resting on a black and white checkered marble floor; visible colors include gold, white, black, beige, and hints of gray.
