The carving is set within a rectangular frame with a curved arch above the scene and geometric triangular motifs in a band above; a carved leafy pattern runs along the bottom border. The surface shows layered paint and worn patina with visible colors including green, dark gray, brown, muted gold, and small areas of reddish-orange where the underlying material shows through.
