Cabinet, Cuboid cabinet with a two-winged base and an upper section with a folding flap, topped by a prominent carved cornice. Base divided by three vertical bands of rosettes with mascarons at the top; door panels framed by moldings carved with a cymatium motif; turned wooden knobs on doors. Base plinth molding carved with a cymatium motif. Low board legs carved with S-shaped forms. Flap surrounded by rosette ornament; lower section of cornice slightly convex, carved with rosettes and a central coat of arms. Behind the hinged lower section of the front cornice accessible after opening the flap is a recess. Behind the folding flap are four single-leaf cabinets and 21 drawers. Doors of two cabinets feature aedicules with solid gilded figures of men in togas. Interiors of cabinets and drawers lined with red marble-pattern wallpaper. Inside the base is a single shelf. Steel eyelet-type door hinges. Flap lock a single-bolt mortise-and-apply type with a steel plate shaped like a bird’s tail. 2nd half 16th century, Italy Tuscany?, Genoa?. Piece of furniture storage. Height 167.5 cm; width 123.3 cm; depth 47 cm., The image shows a tall wooden furniture piece viewed from the side, with a vertical rectangular body and an extended horizontal surface projecting outward; the wood has warm brown tones with darker brown grain variations and some worn areas, and there are carved decorative elements near the top including circular floral motifs and a carved band, as well as molded panels on the front face; the horizontal support and projecting surface are also wood in similar brown shades with a slightly darker top, and the background is a smooth pale gray-beige.
