Cabinet, Baroque period, 2nd quarter of the 17th century, Gdansk. A cuboid cabinet with a boarded body fitted with steel decorative strips, closed with double doors. Framed doors with single panels in the form of convex coffers glued at the mitre from richly profiled strips. Steel closing strip with a wavy outline; rectangular and trefoil-shaped angular fittings on the edges of the body, punched and fastened with headers. Inside, sixteen drawers arranged in five rows: two in the top row, four in each of the two middle rows, and three in the bottom row. Drawer faces framed with profiled strips; the three drawers in the middle row feature numerous internal divisions. Walls connected with exposed diagonal dovetails; back joined to top and sides with dowels. Drawers with exposed diagonal dovetail joints and nailed bottoms.
