Stock exchange table, provenance unknown, Baroque style, stone tops, rectangular. Rectangular stock exchange table with a stone top enclosed in a wooden frame and a drawer in a high frame, supported by four turned baluster legs joined with an H stretcher made of profiled beams. Baluster legs have massive balls in the upper section, terminating at the bottom with flattened balls. Central section of the stretcher has a rectangular extension with a pinnacle not preserved. Reinforcing parquetry under the top. Applied drawer bottoms with slides. Stone top polished only on the upper surface. Drawer lock plate in the form of a cartouche topped with a lily. Steel mortise-and-slip double-bolt lock. 4th quarter of the 17th century, Royal Prussia possible origin. Furniture, table; height 88.5 cm, width 121.3 cm, depth 90.4 cm., A wooden table with a rectangular top and a raised edge sits against a plain light background, showing a warm brown finish and a darker worn surface on the tabletop; the table has a thick apron with a curved profile and a keyhole-shaped opening visible at the front, supported by a group of turned legs with bulbous shapes and rounded feet connected by an ornate stretcher with angular carved elements; the overall colors visible include shades of brown in the wood, darker brown highlights on the turned legs and stretcher, and a light gray background.
