Table, Gift. Pre-war. Kidney-shaped auxiliary table supported by four slender, slightly curved S-shaped legs framed and bound with a rosewood ribbon. Feet in the form of hooves, stained black. Front frame concave with a small central drawer. Tabletop decorated centrally with a fan enclosed by four fields separated by a ribbon of irregular, rounded outline and a narrow crosswise frame. Fan setting inlaid with mother-of-pearl rosettes and bound with tin veining; lower part of the fan features alternating light and dark areas. Tabletop edge veneered with yew solid wood. Mortise lock, single-bolt with brass plate. Circa 1730–1750, possibly Saxony. Height 72.5 cm, width 71.5 cm, depth 46.2 cm., A wooden side table with a warm honey-brown finish stands on a light gray background; the table has a rounded top with darker brown edge trim and a subtle inlaid decorative pattern on the surface, a slightly scalloped apron, and a set of slender, curving cabriole legs that taper to small feet, with visible grain and a few darker brown accents along the leg contours.
