Table, Kidney-shaped auxiliary table, ca. 1730–1750, Saxony . Supported by four slender, slightly curved S-shaped legs framed and bound with a rosewood ribbon; feet shaped as hooves, stained black. Front frame concave with a small central drawer. Tabletop decorated centrally with a fan enclosed by four fields separated by an irregular ribbon and a narrow crosswise frame; fan setting inlaid with mother-of-pearl rosettes and bound with tin veining, lower part of fan showing alternating light and dark areas. Tabletop edge veneered with yew solid wood. Mortise lock, single-bolt with brass plate. Furniture — table. Height 72.5 cm, width 71.5 cm, depth 46.2 cm., A wooden table with a light brown finish and darker brown edging stands on slender curved legs; the tabletop is oval with a decorative inlay pattern radiating from the center in darker and lighter wood tones, and there is a small centered drawer beneath the top. The visible colors include light brown, dark brown, and subtle variations of tan, set against a plain gray background.
