Front legs are spool-turned, on brass rollers with clamps; rear legs are angular, tapered, slightly arched backwards, continuing into the backrest frames. Low frame with rounded front corners. Upholstery fabric not original: damask with a large floral pattern in purple and cream, finished with upholstery tape. Circa 1840, Warsaw. Seating furniture; height 97.5 cm, width 48 cm, depth 53.7 cm., A wooden chair shown from the back with a curved top rail and an exposed upholstered back panel in an off-white fabric with frayed edges, the wood showing a dark brown finish with visible grain, a cushioned seat covered in the same off-white fabric, turned front legs in dark brown with small brass casters and straight rear legs, all set against a neutral gray background; visible colors include off-white, dark brown, brass, and gray.
