Sofa, Biedermeier style, ca. 1820–1830. Upholstered seating piece seat, backrest with armrests that, together with the supports, form volutes of considerable diameter; supported by four angular straight legs. Rectangular flat frame; rectangular seat with applied spring upholstery on the frame. Flat backrest topped with a board with a slightly arched top. Side stiles and armrests have square cross-sections. Between them and the lower part of the volutes are arched boards forming spherical triangles. Reupholstered in green striped fabric. Height 104.5 cm; width 186 cm; depth 62.9 cm. Place of origin possibly Warsaw., A wooden settee with a warm brown polished finish and a gently curved backrest, featuring decorative open scroll armrests on each side; the seat and back cushions are upholstered in striped fabric showing shades of beige, cream, light brown, and pale gray; the settee stands on square block legs in the same brown wood, and the image background is a smooth neutral gray.
