Hemispherical, on a low cylindrical pedestal, body decorated in the lower part with radial curls, at the upper edge with a band of acanthus leaves; a hinged lid surrounded by a raised collar with an applied vine branch with clusters; a double handle of blackened wood set in caps upper caps shaped as snake heads, lower as tails; the Czartoryski coat of arms applied on a paludament with labry and the motto Badz co sie jest. 1803–1804, London, England, Great Britain. Vessel; height 13 cm, width 24.6 cm, depth 17.2 cm, weight 1002 g., A silver teapot with a rounded body and decorative banding sits against a plain light gray background; the lid has a rounded knob and a recessed inner area, and there is ornate raised floral and grapevine decoration around the top rim. The spout is short with a flared, sculpted tip and a floral motif at its base. A dark curved handle, appearing black or very dark brown, attaches to the body with textured metal fittings that meet the decorative rim. The surface of the teapot is reflective silver with subtle tarnish and wear, and the overall color palette includes silver, black or dark brown, and shades of gray.
