Purchased in 1883 as vieux Paris for 500 francs., A metallic pitcher with a hinged lid propped open, featuring a bulbous body and a short spout, standing on a group of curved legs; the surface has ornate embossed floral and ribbed decorative elements and a dark cylindrical handle attached to the side. The visible colors are silver on the metal and black on the handle, set against a light gray background.
