Host ciborium, Copper ciborium on a hexagonal foot, with a smooth shaft featuring two lacings in the form of a half-cylinder and a hexagonal nodus. The body is a flattened sphere, the upper half serving as a cover; the cover has a conical pinnacle originally topped with a cross. On the foot in the arcades are depictions of the Flagellation, Carrying of the Cross, Crucifixion, and Christ in Majesty. On the bowl are busts of angels in circular medallions; on the cover in the trefoil arcades are four depictions of jhakas on the foot. Champlevé enamel, brick red and dark blue, late 14th century, Spain, ritual object, height 28 cm, diameter 16 cm., A close-up view of the bottom of a hexagonal metal object with a central circular hole, showing a worn, textured surface in shades of brown, reddish-brown, dark brown, and hints of black, with areas of lighter tan and small patches of greenish corrosion; the object has a slightly raised rim and beveled edges, and a glimpse of an inner rim decorated in gold, blue, and red is visible near the top.
